The Lozarithm Lens

Calne (Easter Sunday 17th April 2022)

Having to pop out to replace some soured milk on Easter Sunday when most shops were closed I decided to walk through some housing estates to reach a Tesco Express about 25 minutes away. I've noticed over recent years that cats are far less commonly seen out of doors, and they tend to be a lot more cautious, usually disappearing into the undergrowth before they are in camera range.

This was the case today and I saw none until this grey and white cat, not wholly unlike Smokey except around the face, who was on the pavement as I returned home, but rushed to the safety of its own front garden. It didn't disappear completely and I was able to take one shot. Above the cat was a partially opened window and a net curtain behind, so I was imagining being watched suspiciously from within.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Held By Trees - In The Trees (2021)
Held By Trees: David Joseph (pno, el gtr, ac gtr), Robbie McIntosh (dobro, gtr), Andreas Panayi (flute, clarinet), Laurence Pendrous (harmonium),  Chris Mears (bowed gtrs), Ben Taylor (double bass), Martin Ditcham (dr, perc)
Heard on Guy Garvey's show on this afternoon. I don't know if this is the same Robbie McIntosh that played with Paul McCartney, the Pretenders and many countless others, however many of the musicians have appeared on albums by Talk Talk, which makes sense, given the mood of the piece.
