Ramp

We continue with the roof. There’s a lot of planks to de-nail and plenty of tin to shove up the ramp.

With the planks removed, the source of the roof leaks become clear. There are many places where wasps have nibbled their way through the Tyvek and the bituboard beneath. That leaves an open hole for any water getting through the timber to pour directly into the house.

Nick fixes the holes with building paper and roof repair gunk. Our reroof is designed to exclude all insects - but is bound to be less than perfect. Still, they will have substantially less access than previously.

Tea with Gordon and Sara. Lovely.
