Long Rainy Day…

Or maybe I should just start saying “ditto”. It seems like every day is a long rainy day!

But truly, this one started early with a 7:30 am meeting and ended with a board meeting that finished at 6:15 pm. I decided an adult beverage was in order!

I had a nice lunch with mom, followed by a hair appointment. Then home for the board meeting. All good but long.

Fortunately I had the foresight to nip out to the garden this morning for some quick shots. This Geum ‘Mai Tai’ is part of the Cocktail series (which is not why I bought it, despite what you might think!) is just opening up her blossoms. I love this contrasting peachy/magenta color.
