It was a lovely day at the office today.

We had a new girl start yesterday, so Linda’s time has been taken up with her; I’ve not even had the chance to ask how her holiday went!

So today, we put our plan into action for a ‘weekly wellness walk’. We are lucky that there’s a lovely walk right outside the front door, so on a day with good weather it was really nice to get outdoors.

There’s a path that goes right round the marina and it takes about 45 minutes to complete. Linda and I had planned in advance and both brought trainers to wear.

We walked and talked, about work, life and everything in between and before we knew it, we were back at work!

She’s really happy with everything I’ve done so far, she’s noticed a few little changes I’ve made and said the girls have all been really complimentary too, so it’s a nice feeling.

The best news though comes from a call I made to our dental lab to tell them about the issues we’d had last week with the courier. She was absolutely appalled and said this was the final nail in their coffin as they’d had a few other complaints about them from other clients too. All future deliveries are now coming via UPS.

I did initially think it’s a shame the company have suffered through the actions of one man but if other people have complained, then there’s obviously a bigger issue going on so it serves them right :-/
