The Unfinished Poet

The provisional title for this piece is thought to have been "The Poet, seeking for inspiration in the Divine".  The work is believed to be the only known representation of William Ashbless a lesser known 19th Century poet and contemporary of Coleridge and Byron.  But in the event, the work was left uncompleted and is  nowadays more commonly known as "The Unfinished Poet".

After some lovely recent days, today has been overcast and windy, and so not really brilliant for outdoor photography - so it has been back to studio lighting for me - I hope the result keeps you all amused.
