Snapshots From A Celebration Of Life

I had a plan for Flower Friday, but that plan was set aside for these glimpses of the celebration of life for Bill Whitaker, who left us just a few days ago.  We had not actually seen Bill and Andrea since they moved to Cypress in the Houston area to be closer to their daughter, son-in law and grandchildren, so it was special to us that we were able to attend this important occasion.  The pictures are darker than I like for them to be, because I don't use flash during a service, but I wanted to show the Austin police honor guard which did a beautifully dignified and respectful job to honor Bill.  We also had the joy of hearing our former pastor, Bro. Steve Washburn, conduct the service.  So, it was a day of mixed emotions, but we look forward to a joyful reunion someday!
