High altitude

We had lunch today at Ballandean Estate winery, near the SE Queensland town of the same name. At 700 metres above sea level it’s one of the highest vineyards in Australia. It was established in the 1930s and is still owned by descendants of the Sicilian family who created it. Good food and wine, recommended. We are staying nearby tonight at Tenterfield, just over the border in NSW.
