...and relax!

If you followed yesterdays blip, you will of known that todays little adventure was to Alton Towers.

Jules overcame his fear of roller-coasters and we went on: the runaway mine train, duel, nemesis, air (just Jules), nemesis sub terra, the flume, congo river rapids. Then after a quite reasonably priced lunch we went on: sonic spinball (just me), oblivion, charlie and the chocolate factory, rita queen of speed, th13teen, hex, nemesis (again), duel (again), runaway mine train (again) and i finished up with maruader's mayhem.

It seems we picked the best day of the week to go as it was not too busy and the longest ride we queued for was Rita that took 10 mins. A bit different to all my other visits to the theme park. We also got the best of the weather. It was so warm we ended up going back to the lockers to dump our coats and have both come away looking a bit rosy.

Todays blip photo shows Jules looking knackered, relaxing in our hotel bar after our evening meal.

All in all it was a great end to a nice few days away.

When we get back to Cornwall we will have to get on with our next letter on our A - Z tour - J. Any ideas on where to go?
