Hawea River

I got home at 5pm which wasn’t too late, so now resetting my brain for our Wellington trip.  We need to be away from here at by 5.30am in the morning. 
A wonderful weekend with my friends from the Wanaka Camera Club.  
I gave another short presentation this morning,  before we headed around to Glendhu Bay, then this afternoon we drove over to the man-made weirs on the Hawea River this being one of them. The two weirs have been built for kayakers to use, and they have done very well looking quite natural. A very pretty area.  From there I keep driving to home. Just over 3 hours.
