Arrowtown

A biggish day, no correction ….. a big day.
Started off in their club rooms ( their meaning the Wanaka Camera Club) where I gave a presentation of some of my stuff from recent months. Then we all went off over the Crown Range to an area near Arrowtown. Breathtaking autumn trees, colours incredible. We spent a lot of time here wondering through this amazing property. Apart from the trees we had an old ruined building, other old buildings, implements, little stone cottages, an old school and much more. It was challenging photography with harsh contrasts but not to worry, we boxed on regardless.
From there we went into the village of Arrowtown. The place was absolutely heaving with holiday makers (school hols), finding a cafe with outside seating a much needed coffee was enjoyed.
Getting late there was still many stops as we made the journey back to Wanaka.
Another amazing meal, a boutique type gin, followed by wines. Spoilt.
And we do it all again tomorrow at different locations then the three and half drive home just to repack for our 6.45am flight to Wellington on Monday morning.

Then relax!!
