Up the hill!

Today was a very gentle day. I swam this morning at 7.30 and then watched the Church of England low Sunday service from the Truro diocese! There was a sign language interpreter and it was fascinating to see sign for alleluia.

We have a friend who was supposed to join us here but she was unable to due to being just in the early stages of recovery from a five day migraine! We arranged to FaceTime at 11.00 and it was wonderful to connect! We started university 50 years ago nextseptember and we signed Off at 1315!

I had shown her the view of the hill outside the window which we were going to try and climb. She asked for a photo of us on the hill.and we were fortunate enough to see a young man who could take a picture of us. After taking three he disappeared down the hill skipping!

It was a steep climb and we didn’t go very far but we felt glad that we had done it! Coming down we took a detour to walk along to the newlands valley! Not many steps today but 47 floors climbed! App on apple phonegives the statistic! Helen is recovering from pneumonia and I have a dicky knee anc hip!

Extra to be added: panorama from the start of the ascent!
