Beatrix Potters cabinet

We had an adventure on the busses today. We took the bus to Keswick, then Ambleside, then Hawkshead to walk to Hill Top, five and a half mile round trip! We had booked tickets on line and walked through the garden to the house!

The house is as she had it apart from the soft furnishings and there are a lot of grandfather clocks but one of the most striking things was this cabinet which had little replicas of the characters created by her!
