Phantom's Revenge

We bought season passes to Kennywood last night and visited today. The line to process and pick up the passes was long, the first sign that it was going to be busy today. We ended up only riding two roller coasters, Jack Rabbit and one side of Racer, and the carousel, but it was still a fun day. With passes, it's OK to not be able to ride everything because now we can visit when we want.

This is Phantom's Revenge, a giant coaster that's biggest drop is its second. It drops down a ravine. This hill is toward the end and is loaded with airtime. Check out the wheels. Note that the top wheels are not on the track. That's because the negative G's there are so strong, only the upstop wheel at the bottom is holding the train on the track.
