Coming Home

I took my little drone to West Bay this morning with a mission: to capture a scene that I could use for a competition with the theme of "Coast", for the Bridport Camera Club, without making a landscape that would comply with the theme too obviously.

I wanted to be able to include the beach and the surf and sea but with a boat or paddleboard to add a little interest.  I couldn't see a boat close enough to the shore, so I flew out to this boat and followed her home.  I really like the 3D quality of the wake showing separate from the sea bed, but then I always liked playing with boats in the bath . . .
