No swim, too choppy

Last week of college year.  Next week we have our written exams.

Today we reviewed each student’s short film and tutor invited us to ask questions, give opinions and engage in an open but kind way to support our fellow students in what was their main year’s project.  This was interesting and helpful as peer support and review is important and beneficial.

The tutor then told us about Bensound.com (royalty free music for download) and www.filmfreeway.com (worldwide film festival listings and entry forms).

We also watched some second year’s films as the practise of showing a film to rent-a-crowd happens even in Hollywood (before film is released to gauge audience reaction).

On Wednesday night at the Mermaid Theatre, the 3rd year’s have their showcase grad film showing evening.  See here

The tutor invited us to submit our film to be shown on the evening also.  But it would be unusual that a first year’s film would be considered.   I guess we will know tomorrow

Some of the young lads are organising our graduation party for after our exams.   Hmmm
