Taith gerdded gylchol - bron i'r ddinas ~ Circular walk - almost to the city

Aethon ni am daith gerdded hyfrydaf heddiw.  Seiclon ni i lawr i Barc Bute ac yn cloi'r ein beiciau ger Caffi'r Ardd Gudd. Yna cerddon ni trwy'r coetir, ar draws y bont grog, i lawr i'r ochr arall o'r afon, ar draws pont arall i'r Caffi Tŷ Haf - ar gyfer hufen iâ - cyn cwblhau’r daith cerdded yn ôl i'n beiciau.  Roedd taith cerdded syml, hyfrydol, ond gwnaethon ni hyn erioed o'r blaen.

Mae'r coetir yn hyfryd iawn. mae'n eithaf tenau a dweud y gwir, rhwng yr afon a'r parc neu'r llwybr seiclo, ond mae'n hudolus, yn dawel, ac yn llawn blodau diddorol - fel y serenllys hwn.  Roedden ni yng ngolwg y ddinas am rai rhannau o'r daith cerdded. Rydw i'n dal yn ei ffeindio yn rhyfeddol bod gennyn ni'r lle gwych hwn rhwng ein tŷ ni a chanol y dre. Hir y parhao i roddi pleser i bobl.

We went for a most beautiful walk today. We cycled down to Bute Park and locked up our bikes by the Secret Garden Café. We then walked through the woodland, across the suspension bridge, down to the other side of the river, across another bridge to the Summerhouse Café - for ice cream - before completing the return walk to our bikes. It was a simple, beautiful walk, but we had never done this before.

The woodland is very beautiful. it is quite thin, in fact, between the river and the park or the cycle path, but it is magical, quiet, and full of interesting flowers - like this stitchwort. We were in sight of the city for some parts of the walk. I still find it amazing that we have this wonderful place between our house and the town centre. Long may it continue to give pleasure to people
