London Pride

Our London Pride is waking from its winter sleep, the evergreen rosettes now sending out tiny flower spikes. Soon there will be a mini-meadow of pink-white froth, but right now there are only a few floral pioneers. This tiny grape-like collection of buds, scarcely a centimetre in length, is gradually unfurling, while elsewhere exuberant little flowers are bursting into life (in extras).

Just a ‘garden safari’ today - and it’s amazing how much of this tiny world the macro lens reveals. Instead of wandering further afield, I spend the day planning the itinerary for our next adventure - Montenegro in May! Having had our wings clipped for too long, we’ve decided to try a short European trip. The country seems largely unspoilt and scenically quite magnificent, so we’re really looking forward to exploring. I have no scheduled medical appointments, so I’m just hoping I’ll be fine!

Thanks to Sheol for hosting Tiny Tuesday this month.
