An Apple called Topaz

My favourite autumn to spring fruit is definitely the apple. I have a particular fondness for the apple called Topaz which I can find at our big Lausanne market twice a week. The taste is very distinctive with a sweet-tart flavour and they are always juicy!

I love Cox's Orange Pippin too, but they only seem to be available over here at the very beginning of the autumn.
