The Fragrance of Freedom

My very first outing briefly this morning! Only twelve minutes of walking very slowly in the sunshine and it felt like heaven!  I'll do the same this afternoon to build up my strength!

Growing in an expanse of green near my building are some very big lilac bushes with pale pink lilac and smelling just wonderful! All my senses were heightened with the scent blowing over me, the filtered sunshine on my face and head and my shoes caressed by grasses and tiny flowers. So much joy in the spaces of a few minutes!

I'll go out again this afternoon and breathe in the outside air! I feel reborn!
