The River Forth

This is the mighty River Forth; well, not so mighty at this location as it rises at Loch Ard and flows through the Queen Elizabeth Forest, on the way to the Firth of Forth at Leith, and the sea.  Here it is a very tranquil scene.

We had a nice walk today through the forest.  There were quite a few other walkers out, and at our favourite spot at the lochan we sat with a lovely young couple exchanging views on this and that.  Always a nice thing to do.
