Westquarter

Back Blip - yes, here we are again playing catch-up!

Yet another defeat for Falkirk today, losing 1-2 to near-neighbours Alloa. It has been an appalling season for the Bairns and if there is any consolation then today was our last home game and there's only one more match to go before we can consign this season to the dustbin.

However, it was a sunny day and rather than go straight home after the match I took a short drive up to Westquarter Glen. The Glen offers a short, easy walk alongside the Westquarter Burn. One can cross the bridge at the bottom (or the top, depending on one's direction of travel) and return via the other side. There's a rather picturesque, and much photographed, waterfall at the top of the Glen and that's my Blip of the day. It almost took my mind off the football.
