Attending The Audubon Exhibition

The Audibon Exhibition finishes on May 8th. It is at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.

It is over three years since we had visited the museum, and we now felt it was safe to return.

Interesting to see a notice prominently displayed notice encouraging visitors to take photographs.

Today’s entry is a small section of one of the original prints which makes a "striking" image.

Not being members we had purchased tickets and on arrival we were able to sign up as members and have the cost deducted from the membership fee. That we have done.

And now, we can make another visit without booking. Pat and I are still taking full precautions against infection and will continue to do so.

As we were leaving the exhibition an Edinburgh Lady found that the sanitizer dispensary was not working.  I offered to give her some of my Persie Gin sanitizer, which she gratefully accepted and remarked favourably upon the lack of stickiness.

We chatted for a while through our masks and she thanked me remarking that people had become kinder to each other and talked more.

A unexpected benefit from Covid. Long May it continue.
