Textural Tulip

I was with my d for a couple of hours this morning as he was assessed to see if he needs cataract surgery. Apparently it's only bad in one eye. So we're just waiting for the date as I couldn't take him on the day they offered.

 My curly tulips are following on behind from the multi-coloured ones. Although they're a beautiful dark crimson colour I've converted this image to black and white as they have such great texture.
