Green-veined white butterfly

This morning I went to bowling in the park.  Good fun as always.

This afternoon I went over to the castle for a blip and saw this green-veined white butterfly that was sitting basking on some ivy on the tower wall.

I also saw two large  rats and a host of youngsters on the grass.  Someone that I was talking to had counted twelve of them.  I didn't blip them as I know that several of my blip friends don't like to see rats.  As castle visitors drop food as well as seeds for the ducks there will always be rats there.

Some good news - the swans have returned to the moat and are sitting on the eggs again.  I hope that they're still viable.
