Proving chamber

A somewhat desperate blip to record the fact that our new router arrived today, replacing the one we've had since 2015. Despite its age, I couldn't get Orange to provide a replacement free of charge, since it was actually working albeit with inadequate wifi security. 

The new one was easy to set up and it works, but, said S, "if it doesn't keep your starter in optimal condition, we're sending it back!" Yes, the router, in a cupboard, is the perfect place to put the starter for a gently warm environment where it can thrive. Just be careful it doesn't overflow (notional coaster under the jar for that eventuality).

Didn't stop the loaf I baked today from being terrible. I've got another on the go! Also did some preparations for our lunch guests tomorrow.
