Jardin des Tuileries

Did some work in the morning before deciding to head to the vintage shops to find something 20s for an Electro-swing night in the evening. We didn't find anything. I ended up getting a flower head band which made me feel a bit like a 5 year old but never mind.

We then decided to go to the Musée de l'Orangerie as it's a fairly small art museum and it was near closing time so we wouldn't have time to see anything bigger. This photo was taken in the Jardin des Tuileries on the way, turned out we took too long taking photos and the museum had stopped letting people in. Ended up sitting by the mini-lake/fountain thing enjoying the sunshine for a bit before heading home via La Defense so I could get the head band and we could get some stuff for tea. That achieved (and changing our mind on the way home about what we had time to cook) we made fajitas, got changed and headed to Nikki's for pre-drinks. It was really nice to have a chance to see her properly as it had been a while (barring the day before).

The electro-swing night was lots of fun and Nikki attempted to teach us the Charleston and we got to sing rather loudly to All that Jazz. Lots of fun but we're not in the European practice of going out at about 2am and when we were leaving most people were just arriving.

After rather a lot of night buses Martin and I got home at about 4.
