Coltsfoot

We were out with our walking group today on a great walk starting in Kennford, near Exeter. We soon left the noisy traffic behind and walked along ancient tracks strewn with bluebells. We came across these which at first looked as though they were dandelions but on closer inspection were found to be coltsfoot which are much rarer. A lovely day for a walk and one which I hadn’t done before. The views were a bit misty but a walk worth repeating especially as it was easy to get to and didn’t involve narrow country lanes to get to the start point,
