An Owen took a stroll through the deep, dark wood

Making the most of the last days of our Chester Zoo membership, we took the opportunity to use our free entry to Twycross now that Gruffalo Land has opened.

I was a bit sceptical that it could be quite naff but they've put some effort into it and Owen enjoyed it so much he wanted to go around it twice. It's going to be very busy over the summer. After Gruffalo Land #1 we headed around the zoo, including a walk through with the ring-tailed lemurs** where we got up more close and personal than I expected.

A long but successful day.
