Puffy Petals

Last night, I gave my jug of tulips a little water before going to bed. This morning, imagine my surprise when I noticed that two of the flowers had amazingly puffy petals. The texture is so interesting and I've never seen this happen before.

The rain has come this evening, but we need it, so that is good. It will be a crochet and reading weekend.
