It felt a bit odd to be on a coach with a bunch of other people en route to a race start. It's been a while since that sort of thing.
It's a route that should be fast, downhill from Upton Magna to the old canal path then straight along there before joining the river for the last few Km into the Quarry.
It ended up being quite rainy towards the end, and a delayed medal delivery meant no medal shot at the finish. Still, happy enough with the time and Louisa treated me to brunch at Ginger's in town afterwards.
