Devonshire Scream

Devonshire Scream is a book by American mystery and thriller author Laura Childs. I can't tell you anything about it as I haven't read it and am unlikely to ever.

The cat is a Devonshire Rex. My view is that this near hairless breed is unsuited to the Australian sunny climate, without the protective fur coat that most cats have. While it looks a bit of a fright, it is in fact a happy cat. It rolls around on the footpath welcoming pats from passers by. I am disinclined. I'm used to cats with fur.

Today it posed so nicely for me, looking sinister, like the book probably is.
