Cobblestones

Also in Belgium we come across the name Chaussee Brunehaut, but just as often Chaussee Romaine.  I think there are many Roman roads, even the one between Aachen and Maastricht, that Bert and I once walked on foot.  Yet it is still the main route between Cologne and Boulogne-sur-Mer we are following.  For large parts the main road was gone and for large parts, we have made detours. 
We also drove a long stretch on a cobblestone road.  Two deep cobblestone tracks with higher cobblestones in between.  Many tractors have probably left their mark on such a road. 
Then, I have only made one photo and that is my blip of this day.
