Ave atque vale.

"Hail and Farewell(a translation of, ave atque vale, last words of the poem Catullus ) is a traditional military event whereby those coming to and departing from an organization are celebrated."

"By special request". She who must be obeyed suggested this shot and, also, "One of us" intimated she'd like to see how the new shoots were progressing.
If you look, carefully, you can see 3 of the "new" shoots behind the dying one. They're the, paler, ones not cropped short of their tips.

Gaffer a bit "dowly" as night wore on, I'll see what she thinks of it "in the morn's morn", (upon the morrow).

Note ... For any-one who may have been mocking/watching my puny attempts at stacking, this is a stack of a whole two, more may follow.

;¬))

We've had 0.1" of rain since lunchtime, the wind's blown the BBQ over and I nearly have to walk along the house/shed gap leaning 30? form the vertical. I'll just BET it renders the degree sign as a ? I shall soon see. Oh YIPPEEeeee, it's getting cleverer, at one time I had to put ' twice coz " got printed as ? .

P.S. If it's not a gale, it's a hellish determined wind. Our "Bungaloid outcrop" back faces due South which seems to be the direction it's coming from, but the bleeping rain is pattering on all 3 faces N,S &E, in spite of 14" eaves. No bloody wonder there's no outdoor blipping.
