Last of the Tulips

We were up at 4am to celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day. The birds were in fine voice but the weather was not. It was a rather damp affair this year. But we still enjoyed our trip to Trentham Gardens which opened at 5am for visitors to enjoy.

I'd managed to persuade a couple of friends from my camera club to roll out of bed too. Last year we had a glorious misty sunrise. It was still good to make the effort to listen to nature's wonders, especially as I'm not great at rising so early! And the rain gave everything a really fresh vibrance too.

I took a photo of one of the latest lamb to arrive (see extra), as well as the raindrop covered tulip. No sunrise shots this year though.
