Tiny Tuesday: Cherry Tree Petal

A rather quick blip today as it's been busy - I took my Dad for an iron infusion this morning for his anaemia then spent much of the afternoon getting sorted for our camera club presentation meeting this evening. This is when everyone who's had a photo highly commended or placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a competition over the last year gets a certificate and the first places get a trophy. It was the first well attended "in person" meeting we've had since the pandemic started - we had 30 members present and another 18 on Zoom; it was lovely to see so many friends "in the flesh" again. As "IT Manager" for the club (a dubious honour) I was responsible for getting the "outgoing" Zoom (hosted from the pub) to work and fortunately it did (phew!). The pub wifi isn't reliable enough so we used a mobile phone on 4G as a hotspot.

So my Tiny Tuesday blip is a single petal off our cherry tree, which is looking lovely at the moment. It's photographed on a piece of paper illuminated by my laptop screen placed horizontally as a makeshift light box. The petal was rather curled so it needed focus stacking.

Many thanks to H0Tamer for hosting.
