This was taken in the morning today, wandering around the periphery of the tombs. There is a lot of barren land, bare trees struggling to survive in the heat, the occasional old broken down tomb, a mosque perhaps and a lot of excreta one has to be careful about.

The last three days have been truly eventful, and on each of the occasions, I haven't carried my camera. I do regret it. But not having the camera allows us to experience the events differently too. Which is not bad and often needed.

Last night, we had more than 10,000 pairs of hands waving in the air as songs raged on stage, the food and the drinks flowed, jokes and music reverberated in the air. I still have the 'UNPLUG' impression on my hand. The four enormous autoriums were joined to create the largest dance floor and the atmosphere was heady. The logistics were rather astounding, but the event definitelely lots of fun.

Prior to that, we had travelled for an Office Team building activity to the fascinating ICRISAT campus. Vast, again is an understatement. When we managed to take out some time, we cycled through the fields of corn and sunflower that stretched to the horizon. I thought of the camera.

Peacocks crossed the road with ease, herons dodged the sprinklers which created tiny rainbows; flora and fauna were abundant and diverse. We spent a lot of time in the pool, with tennis, a lot of running and laughter. These were some good days.
