Progress. The male, on the right, has just got up from sitting on the eggs and was immediately replaced by the female.
I think my id is right although it is not easy to tell. But I read that the female bill is just a little more curved than that of the male.
In today’s extra the Robin stands guard over the Lady’s slipper Orchid. The first flower bud can be seen.
