Jack loves cow parsley!

This morning I did a fun ride through the bluebell woods on the outskirts of Quorn. It was gorgeous riding through carpets of blue. I went with Georgia and they wanted to do the escorted ride where you all set off together. Unfortunately the guy who was leading it set a very steady pace and a lot of it was single track so we were all just bunched together. He'd also do a jump then not ride off after it so everyone just ended up crashing into the back of each other. It was a bit frustrating as I just felt like I was hanging on to Buddy all the time and I like to have a good look at what we're jumping but it was so hard holding him back so I avoided a few of the jumps I would have done otherwise. Wish we'd just ridden later on our own as it was well signed. Never mind we'll know for next time!!

I had a dog to walk after taking Buddy back to the yard then I went home for a quick brew and sit in the garden. Then back to the yard to get Jack cleaned up ready for the soar valley show tomorrow which will be another early start. He had a bath, his mane tidied up and his beard trimmed and all his tack cleaned so hopefully all that's left to do in the morning is load up. Sometimes it's like a full time job having three horses. Poor Lime is being a bit neglected so it'll be his turn soon!
