Fullerton's of Oxna

Some cloud this morning, but mostly blue skies and sunshine.  Calm in the morning, breezy afternoon and flat calm tonight.

Up early, and a busy day in the sunshine.  Headed down to Sandwick to buy a new cold frame, and then popped by Laura's.  We had lunch at Madeline's, and then headed out for a run in the boat.  Helped big Brian attach the bonnet and boot on the Jaguar, followed by a chip supper from the Cornerstone.  Watered the garden and greenhouse, and the cold frame is now filled.  More walkies with Sammy, then feet up.

A lovely day to be out on the sea, and saw puffins and the tirricks (Arctic tern) have returned.  As we approached the isles, we were greeted with waves from the Fullerton's, and headed into land.  They are on their annual trip staying weeks here, for the lambing.  No running water, no power, no modern annoyances, must be bliss to get away from it all for a while.  Wilbert and Christine with their daughter Shona, and then peerie Brian and Sammy.  Taken outside the main house, Oxna Isle.
