Lamb Season

Misty in places this morning, but it cleared into sunny day.  Breezy at times, flat calm tonight.

Slept well this morning, and then headed down for my last late shift of the week.  A busy day in the airport.  A few spells on the check-in desk, but mostly meeting and boarding flights, also showing Susan the ropes.  A few technical delays, also delays due to a lack of ground staff in a lot of airports across the UK.  Walkies with Sammy, now feet up.

With spring well and truly here, so are the spring animals.  Lambing season can be a hit or a miss, this year crofters have got off lightly, and had a fairly mild spring.  Most lambs have arrived now, and the fields are full of newborns.  They are getting playful and charging about with friends, others are resting after a busy day doing lamb things.  These two cuties were snapped at Sumburgh Farm, Sumburgh.
