Pincushion

I know there are lots of beautifully focused and composed dandelion seed photos around, but I liked the way this particular head had lost a neat and regular layer of seeds, leaving the centre of the flower much more clearly exposed than usual. I thought it looked like a little pincushion, with a carefully placed array of fancy pins.
