Adventurer

Our garden isn’t vast, but to this tiny snail - his shell all of 5mm - it is a world of jungle dangers. I spot him on this vibrant tulip setting off on his adventure - though in reality I realise this is a voyage of destruction where he will lay waste to as much of our precious vegetation as he can. 

Portrait taken, I let him wander off in peace, knowing that if the ‘gardener’ catches him, he’s likely to meet a sticky end…..
