A birthday treat

Back blipping still (on 8th May)

After a reasonable, but rather short, night's sleep, the family visited us for breakfast, having collected croissants and Danish pastries from the bakery as soon as it opened at 0730.  Then, whilst we continued slowly getting into the day, they went off to find some fun, and soon after, visited us again, on a cycle (see 1st extra).

Then it was time to pack up and check out.  Next stop, Legoland itself.  We were a little later than them arriving, so G was already on the train with the boys.  Then we wandered through the mini village, admiring the many working models made out of Lego, before most of us (W excepted) had a ride in the Legotop, to get an aerial view of the park.  From there, Milo had spotted the aeroplanes, and as he seems to be "plane mad" at the moment, that was our next stop - 3rd extra.

The lowest age for driving the cars was 6 - Robin was 6 yesterday.  He isn't noted for his ability to focus and concentrate, so I was really impressed with how well he did driving this car around for a good 20 minutes.  Meanwhile, Milo (4th extra) enjoyed time in a little kids playground.

The weather, having been really good for our entire trip to Sweden, rather spoilt itself this morning - a biting wind and slight damping.

After lunch, we visited a shop with Robin to choose some Lego for his birthday present, and then we left them to enjoy more fun, whilst we set off to drive home.  Luckily, I'm told the weather improved markedly for the afternoon, and they all enjoyed themselves (5th extra, not taken by me)
