River of Flowers

Sunday: Welsh Poppies and Rowan Blossom

Sunny and dry all day.
MrD went off early on his motorbike to the hills of mid-Wales.
After all the activities and all the gardening last week, I had a very lazy day of reading but I had taken some photos before my laziness!
The story of the original Rowan tree - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2010770 which sadly died and was blown over in a storm - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2366973069001492330
Meconopsis cambrica (Welsh poppies) are a favourite of mine and have self-seeded everywhere but I’m not complaining, was there ever such a cheerful flower :-))
ADDED AT 9:45pm - whilst I was standing near the greenhouse 2 low flying geese heading for the beach and 2 small bats !!
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
