Red Arrow

What a long but wonderful day.  We met up with LooseCanon’s two brothers and their wives at a pub near Westonbirt in the Cotswolds. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside in the sunshine all day. 
On the way back we investigated Cotswold airport , formerly RAF Kemble which was home at one time  to the Red Arrows. It’s an interesting  place and would be a good blipmeet venue.  They’ve done quite well over  the last couple of years housing disused aircraft which were grounded during the pandemic.
You can look around various historic aircraft and there’s a cafe, which appeared to have coffee and cake , always a requirement on a blipmeet.
The tours are only possible a couple of days a month though so a bit of planning will be needed.
