The Kelpies 11.30pm

We had a leisurely drive down to the Corran Ferry from our wild camp which we left just as some Corbett baggers arrived. It was a sunny morning - it would have been good to get up there too but we had plans.

In all the years we’ve driven up here this must be the busiest ever. The parking in Glen Coe was stuffed with cars, vans, and buses. I hope all the people wanting to climb got a spot.

We stopped by Loch Tulla for a break then carried on to Stirling where we visited the Wallace Monument. There was an actor telling the story which he did well.

Then we arrived at the Kelpies where we bought a ticket to park overnight. I’d always wanted to spend time around them when they were lighten up. We had a stroll up around 11 and it was magical. Of course many photos were taken but I’ve had to quickly pick one before midnight just to get up to date with blip after falling behind due to lack of connectivity.
