It's A Minute To Midnight

Harlech Castle

What a cracking day we had today. The weather turned out better than expected as it was suppose to be miserable cloud, but it started sunny and very warm. We had coffee outside in the garden in pjs getting very warm and looking out for bugs.
Later we went to Fairy Glen and because we can be a bit dizzy we paid the farmer for her car parking fee and trotted off down and realised we had forgotten the tripods and filters!!!
Smacks head!!!! I found loads and loads of fabulous bugs but didn't have any of my macro gear with me.
We then drove on our merry way to Harlech castle to get it from an unusual angle!,....the sea when it was fully out, however we had two more hours to wait before the tide was fully out, but Paula being Paula didn't want to wait......so to cut a long story short she stripped off her trousers and boots and went waist deep in the sea in just her knickers to get the shot!
I on the other hand am more sensible and just videoed her trying to take trousers off while standing in the water!!!
Yes you are reading this right......
I left her to it and walked up the beach to the dunes to get my shot. Honestly you couldnt make it up the laughs we had!!!
Another long story and we headed back across the beach to the van and Paula walked straight into a low level wired fence....so tripod in left hand and a Sea Potato in the other she tripped and flipped horizontal across the fence holding aloft her Sea Potato saying "its not broke" and a huge grin on her face. After checking she was ok apart from being a bit sore where the wire caught her then we laughed so hard we cried! It was soo bloody funny. As my Mum said Laughter is the best medicine!
We still didnt get back to cottage till gone 10pm  and then we cooked tea!
A thoroughly fantastic day was had in every sense.
