A day Indoors

It’s rained most of the day. Hopefully it’ll put some water in the falls we want to visit tomorrow. We edited some of our pics from yesterday’s bug outing. Then we got chilly and put heating on……. No heat….. no hot water…… bugger!
Our holiday host told us on Saturday he was going to Portugal from Monday to Saturday this week as we are ( non agent guests in the cottage) as we booked directly through him as we are trustworthy and he thought nothing would go wrong (as it hasn’t the last three years we stayed here)
Now this happened and I decided to text him to say …… Help!!!
He didn’t reply to the text but about 10 mins later a silver car pulled up and a very nice man said Richard has sent me to check the boiler!

He said it had lost pressure so re pressurised it and said have you got hot water ….. to which the answer was yes.
The rads weren’t warm yet but we expected that to take a few more mins. The guy left and we waited to see if the rads were warming up which they’ve started too.

Apparently he’s had trouble over the years with one boiler failing each year!!!!
Let’s hope it holds for the rest of our holiday.

We have chilled out listened to music had a laugh and an early ish night for us to go out tomorrow ( even though it’s showing rain again)

Oh and I also had another meltdown today as the biggest spider was sat under my waking boots earlier and I screamed the place down!!! Paula to the rescue and put him outside!
