Picking the Sparrowgrass

Walked to the shop at lunchtime and across the hills, and close up too, watched the pickers picking the asparagus that’s such a feature locally.  I know the farmer had a really hard time getting pickers this year and when the team walked past the house in the evening I noticed that as well as the Eastern Europeans who come every year there seemed to be quite a few Indians, they particularly were highly amused by Woody (dachshund) rushing out to the lane to bark.

Other than that a day in the office doing zooms in the late afternoon evening on two different shows,  nudging things along.
