Braidburn

After submitting the funding proposal, and tidying up some loose ends from recent dealings with clients, I started marking again. However, after taking a break for a meeting, I got a call that Mum wasn't well, and could I be there when the doctor came to see her. So, I drove into Edinburgh and my route to the nearby surgery to collect her prescription took me along the Braid Burn. For an inner-city stream, it can look very pretty at this point, and the view of gorse-capped Arthur's Seat added to the vista. Since A needed the car for the evening, I didn't have time to go to the pharmacy and back to Mum, but they will deliver tomorrow, saving me a special trip into Edinburgh.
